Most organs have been fully used when we die. We die because they are not able to function anymore. However, skin, as the largest organ in our body, is usually overlooked and remains complete or blank.

Why don’t we well utilize the skin throughout our lifetime? Isn’t it kind of a waste if we don’t make the most of it? What are our attitudes towards our skin?

Photograph collage inspired by David Hockney’s Joiners.

Collage adds a dimension of time to Hockney’s photographs, whereas I want to spread out my 1.89 square meters of skin surface using it.
